Neil Howie has experience in all Council advice work and is a Law Society accredited specialist in Local Government and Planning Law. Ken has more than 15 years experience in local government and planning law. He has considerable experience as an advocate in the in Land and Environment Court and the Court of Appeal, matters generally pertaining to Local Government Act 1993, Environmental Planning and Assessment Act 1979 and related Acts.

Stephen Patterson
Stephen is an accomplished litigator in a number of different jurisdictions. He has had extensive experience in the Land and Environment Court since 1999 and in the provision of advice in relation to local government and planning matters since that time. Kirsty is a solicitor working in Wilshire Webb Staunton Beattie’s local government and planning division. She completed a Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of law (Honours) degree at Macquarie University in 2004 and began working as a law clerk in planning and environment law in March 2004. She was admitted as a solicitor in April 2006.

David Clark is a practitioner with over 35 years’ experience. David has extensive experience with a wide range of local government and administrative law matters. In his role as principal solicitor at the Local Government and Shires Associations for approximately 15 years David obtained specialist knowledge of Council administration processes and is available to provide specialist advice in relation to a wide range of Council related issues.
